Do you roast your own coffee?

Do you roast your own coffee?
Nope, but we keep it close. Our beans are a locally roasted arabica blend, crafted for balance and brewed fresh all day. We keep it approachable for locals, coffee nerds, and folks who just want a good cup.

Why don’t you offer every syrup and milk under the sun?
We’re a traditional espresso bar. That means real lattes, real cortados, and drinks that taste like coffee — not dessert. If you’re used to those big companies' menus, some things might be different here (and that’s on purpose).

What’s a cortado?
Equal parts espresso and steamed milk. Small, balanced, and mighty.

Can I get a pump of chai in my cold brew?We don’t do that, partner. But we’ll make you a chai latte or a cold brew — your call.


Gondola & Food Rules

Can I take my drink or snack on the Gondola?
Yes. Drinks, snacks, and even that bag of beans you just bought can ride with you.

Where does the gondola go?Straight up to Mountain Village, with a scenic stop at San Sophia Station. And yes, it’s free.

Quick Directions to Popular Trails

If you’re looking to stretch your legs after your coffee, here are local favorites you can get to without a car. Just remember — the mountains are beautiful but the altitude is real. Take water, wear good shoes, and know your limits.

River Trail
Flat and scenic along the San Miguel River. Pick it up right across from the gondola. Good for all levels.

Bear Creek Trail
Trailhead is at the end of South Pine Street, a short walk from the cart. Steady climb to a waterfall, about 2.5 miles each way. Bring water, pace yourself.

Cornet Creek Falls
North end of Aspen Street. Short but steep to a small waterfall. Loose footing — wear shoes that mean business.

Valley Floor
Follow the River Trail west for big views and open space. Flat and easy.

Ridge Trail
From San Sophia Station (mid-gondola), follow the signs downhill to Mountain Village. Mostly gentle, great scenery.

Where’s the river?
Follow the sound of water, it’s just steps from the gondola.

What is there to do around here?
Hike, ride, shop, eat, drink. You’re in Telluride, most folks just wander and stumble onto something worth doing.

Is there parking nearby?
Street parking in town is limited and time-restricted. The free gondola from Mountain Village is your best bet if you’re staying up there.

Do you take cards?
Yep. Cash too. Gold nuggets… not so much.

Orders and Shipping

Where do you ship from?
All orders are packed and shipped with lots of love directly from our shop in Telluride, Colorado every Monday. No warehouses, no middlemen.

When will my order ship?
We handle online orders once a week on Mondays. If you place your order after Monday morning, it will head out the following week. You’ll get a tracking email when it’s on the way.

What carriers do you use?
We ship out all orders via USPS. Rates and delivery windows show at checkout

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only but would love to see you at one of our locations when you come visit Telluride to stock up on the good stuff!

Can I change or cancel my order after I’ve placed it?
Email us right away with your order number. If your order hasn’t been packed, we’ll do our best to adjust.

Coffee and Beans

What beans do you sell online?
Our house blend — a 100% Arabica roast crafted locally and brewed every day at the cart and General Store.

Do you sell single origins?
We focus on our house blend for consistency. If we offer a limited single origin, you’ll see it online.

Whole bean or ground?
We recommend whole bean for freshness. If ground options are available, you’ll see the grind selection on the product page.

How fresh is the coffee when I order?
We ship the freshest roast we have. Store it airtight and out of the sun, and drink within a few weeks for the best cup.

Merch & Gear

Are your mugs and tumblers dishwasher safe?
Most are top-rack safe, but always check the product page. Hand-washing keeps them looking sharp longer.

How do I know what apparel size to order?
Each product page has a size chart. If you’re between sizes, size up for a looser fit.

Returns and Exchanges

What’s your return policy?Unused merch and unworn apparel can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Coffee beans cannot be returned once opened, but if there’s an issue, contact us and we’ll make it right.

Pay It Forward & Gift Cards

Can I buy a Pay It Forward online?
Yes. Buy one online and we’ll post a physical card at the cart in Telluride for a guest to redeem.

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Digital gift cards are delivered by email and can be used online or in person.

Events at the General Store

Can I book the General Store for an event?
Yes. We host weddings, gallery shows, private parties, and community gatherings. Visit our Space Rentals page to start the process.

Subscription Program

How do I start a subscription?
Choose “Subscribe & Save” on the product page, pick your delivery frequency, and check out as usual. Your coffee will show up on schedule without you having to think about it.

Can I skip a delivery?
Yes. Log into your account, go to “Manage Subscriptions,” and select “Skip” for the upcoming order.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
You’re in control. From your account dashboard, you can pause, cancel, or restart at any time. Just log in before your next renewal date.

Can I change my delivery frequency?
Yes. In your subscription settings, you can switch how often you’d like your coffee shipped.

Can I update my payment or shipping address?
Absolutely. Log into your account, update your payment method or address, and your next order will process with the new details.

Do you offer discounts for subscribers?
Yes. Subscribers save compared to one-time orders, and your price is locked in as long as your subscription is active.

What if I can’t log into my account?
First, try refreshing your browser. If that doesn’t work, use another browser, switch to another device, or open an incognito/private window. Clearing your history and cache often fixes it too. Still stuck? Contact us and we’ll help get you back in.
